Interview with The Times – Only men can create cultural change needed for women to get coaching jobs

A player once told Manisha Tailor that he never thought he would be coached by a woman. “I said, ‘Isn’t it great?’” she says. “And he said, ‘Yeah, it’s fantastic.’”

Tailor is the lead foundation phase coach at Queens Park Rangers’ boys’ academy — one of only a handful of women in the country coaching male players at a top team and the only south Asian woman coaching at any of the 92 clubs in the English professional game.
