QPR Academy Coach Manisha Tailor has been awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.
Tailor, who joined QPR as a sessional coach in September following a six-month voluntary placement, has been appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for ‘Services to Football and Diversity in Sport.’
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk about her MBE, Tailor praised the impact QPR and Technical Director, Chris Ramsey, have had on her coaching development, commenting: “This award is something I will cherish dearly.
“I will always be grateful to Chris for his mentorship and Queens Park Rangers Football Club for their commitment to diversity in football.
“I feel I am at the best possible club and will endeavour to work hard and continue to learn from Chris and his fellow coaches as I continue to work through my coaching journey.”
On behalf of everyone at QPR, congratulations Manisha!
